Why Independent Women Can't Keep a Man

Going by the title, you would think that being an independent woman is a bad thing. Well, it's not. Independence is one of the things that have changed women lives dramatically in the 21st century. Women now have better jobs and are living a relatively better life than their mothers.

You would expect the women of today to be happier than their predecessors. They are actually a far cry from that. Most independent and successful women are living an empty life. Most of these woman are single are more likely to date younger men. There are several reasons for this:

• Most of these women have a hard time giving respect to others. After all she has worked very hard in school, has a nice job, driving and living in a posh neighborhood.  These type of women will label every man who is struggling to make ends meet a loser. They are quick to judge men as not hardworking enough. She will therefore give a wide berth to men who could have been potential mates.
• Independent women try to do everything themselves. These women have the reasoning that what a man can do, a woman can always do it better. Most forget that men are there to lighten the load. There is no good reason why you should allow yourself to be fatigued and mentally exhausted just to prove a point. It doesn't hurt to let a man into your life and have him help you around. Men feel appreciated this way. It makes a man feel male just by helping a woman.
• Hanging around bitter women. Lets face it, most successful women who are single have this bitter attitude towards men. Instead of coming out as 'I have worked hard to be where I am and deserve some respect for that', they come out as 'I don't need a man'. Well, we all need each other. Hanging around these people will do nothing good about your attitude. If you think you do not need a man, chances are that you can't keep one.
• Women also need to understand that men don't fall in love with degrees or job titles. Do not think just because you are very successful you are entitled to endless attention from men. Men fall in love with a woman. You need to show more of your feminine side to attract men.
